Research
Following a path inspired by innovation and technology.
Our R&D divisions at Anuh Pharma Ltd. and S Kant Healthcare Ltd. are leading the group’s innovation-driven efforts. Established in 2012 and 2016 respectively, both these research centers are equipped with cutting-edge technology and the brightest scientific minds to take us forward and make critical breakthroughs in the field of pharmaceuticals.
“Research empowered by Experience”
"Research & Experience" are the two pillars on which the growth and success of our R&D divisions stand. Experience is the driver of knowledge and expertise, while research is what helps us stand out in an industry that is driven by constant innovation and technological advancements.
Anuh Pharma R&D Division
In close proximity to S Kant’s R&D Center, Anuh Pharma’s set up is spread across 10,000 square feet. The laboratory is divided into three primary sections: Analytical Development lab, Chemical Synthesis Lab and a Pilot Plant.
The Chemical Synthesis Lab conducts lab scale reactions to develop processes and products. By physical and chemical manipulations involving one or more reactions, our chemists devise reliable, reproducible reaction processes that are scalable.
Reliable and reproducible analytical methods are essential to both the pharmaceutical development and the evaluation of drug product to meet the defined Industry Standards of potency, purity and stability. Analytical chemists work to develop, qualify and validate or refine analytical methods to meet these demands.
The Pilot Plant is well equipped with facilities to scale up processes developed in the Chemical Synthesis Lab and to facilitate the manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients for clinical trials and validations.
S Kant Healthcare R&D Division
S Kant’s R&D Center spread across 7500 sq. ft. has development capabilities for oral solids, oral liquid and topical finished formulations and uses sophisticated analytical instruments. In addition to the infrastructure, the center has a knowledge bank of 50+ scientists of post-graduate & doctorate qualification, while a top regulatory team works diligently on technical documentation and dossier preparation.
S Kant’s R&D facility is also home to the newly founded division called Ekắhetu, SK’s herbal products and nutraceuticals division, where new herbal products are researched and tested before being produced.
